About this site –

Hello, my name is Chris and I am a Guitars for Vets volunteer with the Phoenix AZ Chapter. I created this site to support our donation drive and charity event on 12/1/2018. The G4V program is an amazing program with very high demand. Our 2018 charity event is looking to raise enough funds to purchase 50 guitar kits for 50 future graduates. With your assistance we can make this happen! The funds will be used to support the 3 AZ chapters. If we exceed our goal funds will be distributed to the national organization and one additional music charity in the valley.

About the G4V Program –

The Guitars for Vets (G4V) program helps support veterans with PTSD by helping them learn guitar through a 10-week program. Upon successful graduation, each veteran receives a brand new guitar to keep along with a case, guitar stand, tuner, and other items. These veterans are also now “enrolled” for life. Meaning they can take additional group lessons and participate in other local G4V chapter events.

Guitars for Vets are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and as such governed by certain rules that dictate what we are able to do. Veterans interested in joining G4V should email the chapter he or she is closest to.
